Lightest Double Stroller
When looking for a light double stroller the weight and dimensions are important factors to take into consideration. When not in use, pick an infant stroller that is simple to use and compact. This makes it easier to store in your car trunk and to navigate through airport security and foreign roads.
The best lightweight strollers have a simple, intuitive fold that allows them to stand up on their own. This helps reduce stress on the parent's body. Many also come with a wide range of seating configurations and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Created for families on the go. Lightweight and easy to carry in one hand compact fold. All-terrain wheels with front suspension, as well as a multi-position reclining seats will accommodate children as heavy as 50 pounds. The trays for parents and children, large storage basket, and 3-tiered extended canopy with the peekaboo window offer maximum sun protection.
The Cloud was awarded one of the lowest marks in our quality tests due to the fact that it has a flimsy, hard plastic seat and a style that is dated. It is also more expensive than other lightweight strollers. This is a bad option for parents looking for a budget option.
Although it's not the tiniest double stroller, it does have enough features that are worth a look. Its swiveling wheels make easy for you to maneuver it on flat surfaces. It can also jump curbs with ease. The low handle of the Cloud is a disadvantage, however; it's nearly at knee height and not adjustable. It's not comfortable to push it with your legs dangling in the air like that and it's also not helping that it's not padded.
In our tests, we discovered that the Cloud was easy to set up and open. It's a little more difficult to close the cloud, however. You need to slide a slider before you pull a big white button for it to collapse. This can be a hassle particularly if you're trying to keep track of kids while doing it.
The Cloud comes with a tiny, but deep storage basket. It's large enough to accommodate an enormous diaper bag. The basket is a bit small and you might have to store something inside to reach the back. The Cloud includes a child and parent tray with two cup holders however they're both too narrow to hold larger bottles or cups.
Kolcraft is an established family business that has been in operation since 1946. Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS is a fairly barebones lightweight double stroller that's perfect for traveling. cheap double pushchair at just 18 pounds (lighter than some single strollers!) and folds flat for easy transport and storage. It also features independently reclining seats, large all-weather SPF 50 sun visors that have peekaboo windows and extra-large under-seat storage bags. The visors can be adjusted to fit kids of various heights. It also comes with an integrated parking brake with one step and is Disney-sized approved.
The swivel wheel feature of Jeep is also great for maneuvering over bumps and uneven terrain. This stroller doesn't accept car seats. Your child must be at minimum six months old and have a good neck control to use the front seat. The stroller has an umbrella sun canopy with three panels and each seat has its own cupholder and snack tray.
Another extremely light side-by-side stroller is the Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend. It's heavier than Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 pounds. However, it's narrower and smaller (26.5 inches wide!) It has a lot of elegant details that make it ideal for travel. It is easy to fold and is very mobile. It fits easily in the overhead compartments and the trunks of planes.
Similar to the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold ultralight double stroller. It's pretty comparable to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, but it has some key distinctions. It's a bit more expensive, but offers a more shady sun canopy and more maneuverability. It also comes with a handy carry strap that can hold children as heavy as 44 pounds per seat.
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is a stroller that is light with a lot of features. It's not only crazy lightweight at 13 lbs, but it has plenty of storage in the form of child and parent cup holders, a sippy-cup for the child pocket and a parent storage pocket and more. This stroller is also compatible with a child's seat and comes with a brake with a flip-flop feature that can be easily engaged. This stroller is designed to grow as your child grows. It can be converted from a baby to an adult stroller by attaching car seat adapters (sold separately) and it's suitable for children 6 months and older.
Another thing to consider about this stroller is that it only has swivel wheels and doesn't have locking capabilities therefore it may not be the best option for terrain that is rocky or hilly. It's still a great option for families with children, since it is able to be easily maneuvered on smooth surfaces as well as smooth surfaces.

This stroller is among the most lightweight double strollers with large features in a sleek compact design. It folds with one hand and stored in the trunk or garage. It can also be used as a travel stoller, and is compatible without additional adapters with most car seats.
The Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is different from most lightweight travel strollers because it features two separate seats that can each support up to 100 lbs. The seats feature individual leg rests and 3-panel canopies that include an open-top sunvisor and a peekaboo window.
The seats are cushioned for your infant's comfort. They come with a padded 5-point safety harness that can be adjusted to three different heights. Each has a built-in infant cushion, which is perfect for infants. The cup holders for parents and child, the cellphone holders, and the huge storage basket will be appreciated by parents. The stroller comes with the Yoyo+ Board which transforms it into a tandem.
Joovy Kooper X2
The Kooper X2 double stroller is an excellent choice for parents looking for a light double stroller that can accommodate two children. Its sling-style seats are comfortable and provide a similar amount of headroom, which allows kids to sit together. Contrary to other strollers with side-by-side seating that are available, the Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that's an ideal spot to nap. The recline mechanism is simple to operate but it isn't completely flat. Children who are taller might find they have an unbalanced leg when they sit in a reclined position. It also features a large canopy that we found to be more effective in blocking sunlight than other strollers in our top double strollers review.
The stroller is light enough to move through door frames which was a major issue for us with some other models in our testing. It folds quickly, and its handlebars are close to the ground, making it easy transportation. Its only downside is its small storage space, which can feel uncomfortable when filled with things for kids.
